Guides

Solicitor-reviewed guides, or nothing.

A guide is published only when a named Irish legal professional has reviewed it and it carries its sources and effective date.

Guides are in review, not published. Our content engine drafts guides continuously, but drafts go into a review queue — never straight onto this site. Publishing an unreviewed statement about Irish law would be the fastest way to make this product untrustworthy, so the queue is deliberate.

What a published guide will always contain

Named reviewer and date

Who reviewed it, when, and when it is next due for review.

Primary sources

Links to the Irish legislation, official form or agency page it relies on — not to a summary of a summary.

Where it does not apply

The exceptions, and the situations where the guide is the wrong page for you.

A practical next step

A checklist or decision tree, and the route into the matching DlíWise module.
